Louis G. Redmond-Howard’s “Six Days of the Irish Republic: A Narrative and Critical Account of the Latest Phase of Irish Politics” – the Easter Rising and its aftermath. A journalist, Redmond-Howard was the nephew and biographer of Irish nationalist leader John Edward Redmond. Redmond-Howard dedicated the book to Wilfred Meynel, “One of the few honest Engishmen who are English enough to be ashamed of the story of English rule in Ireland.” This is the first American edition published in Boston by John W. Luce & Co.; 131 pages. Has green cloth binding in well-worn dust cover, and the first two pages (one blank) have been dog-eared; otherwise a very good copy.
