A Kurdish tribal rug 4' x 6'8" woven in NW Persia circa 1910. The field holds a whimsical assortment of camels (though some look like they have duck bills...) along with people and some rather nonspecific zoomorphic creatures. Three traditional borders surround the entire menagerie. Colors are good, including a great green in one of the medallions. condition is good, and the edges and ends have been stabilized.
