Painted Wooden Studio of the Dance Sign 1950s

This painted wood “Studio of the Dance” sign has its original dry painted surface, saw-tooth edges on 2 sides and “Mrs. C. B. Worthen” (presumably the dance instructor and/or the owner) hand-lettered on the front (shadow lettering for “Studio” and “Dance”). It measures 19 ¾” x 9 ½” and is ¾” thick. No indication of date, but I would think the mid-1950s, and no indication of place. (A quick Google Search puts a Mrs. C. B. Worthen in Vermont in the 1940s, but no indication if she was a Dance Instructor, etc.).  The sign is in very fine condition with a nice, mellow painted surface. No splits, cracks or repairs, only slight edge scraping in the lower right corner. The back side is painted all-black.
