19th Century Norwegian Ale Bowl Rosemaling Decorated in the Telemark Style. The Bowl Measures 11-7/8” x 11-3/8” from Shrinkage over the Years. It has a 1” Vertical Rim with a Turned Foot for the Base, and Incised Chisel Work Along the Outside which Adds Interesting Texture, not Commonly Found in Ale Bowls. The Interior of the Bowl is Painted with Traditional Colors using Classic Telemark Flowing Floral Designs and Swirls, with Typical use and Age-Related Paint Loss Both on the Inside and Outside. Structurally The Bowl is in Great Condition with No Crack, Splits, Chips, or Repair.

Buyer pays for all return shipping and insurance unless other arrangements have been made. A full refund will be issued, once the item is returned and condition verified.
