Historic Early 19th Century Carved Coquille Nut Snuff Box Celebrating Napoleon’s success at Austerlitz. Carving on Lid Features Napoleon and Other Soldiers on Horseback, with Inscription “Austerlitz”. The Base Features Floral and Foliage Decor Capped with Mustachioed Faces at Each End. Great Condition with Typical Drying Splits in Lid and Base, and a Tiny Loss to One Horse’s Leg. Very Nice Patina. 3-1/2” Long.
