A wonderful early walnut cupboard that is easily one of the heaviest pieces we have ever owned. Acquired many years ago from Rob Hicklin who stated that it had come from Rutherford County, North Carolina. It is entirely walnut with southern yellow pine secondary wood and very substantially constructed with some boards being more than one inch thick. Old and mellow with an early brown painted surface.
82" tall and takes a 36 inch corner.

Shipping and Returns
We are happy to discuss preferences for shipping with every customer. Generally we will carefully pack small items ourselves and send them by USPS with the buyer paying the postage. For somewhat larger items we often go the UPS. For furniture we have worked with a number of different delivery companies. Being only ten minutes from I-95 and available for pickups 24-7 that is easy. No sale is considered final until we know the buyer is happy.Additional Information
We maintained a traditional antiques shop in the heart of historic Fredericksburg, Virginia for 42 years. Now we have moved to the cloud [really only a mile away and closer to the highway] and are continuing our business online, over the phone, and by appointment. If we were ever to specialize we would only handle things that might have seemed familiar to Washington, Jefferson, Madison and Monroe. But, we really enjoy a wide variety of quality objects.
