Exceptional Chinese embroidery panel featuring bats and florals in shades of blue, gold and cream
This unique piece of needlework belonged to a close friend whose grandfather was involved with the silk trade in China during the early 20th century
He brought back many fine examples of textiles this being one of them
Framed and matted this piece measures -7 1/2" x 13 3/4"
Embroidered panel measures - 15 1/2" x 19 1/2"
